On 24th September 2024, IBC took part in the Indian diaspora meeting with Shri Nikhilesh Giri, the newly appointed deputy chief of the mission at the Indian Embassy in Russia, held in Moscow. The President of the Indian Business Council Mr. Akashdeep Singh and other heads of the Indian organizations: Mr. Kashmir Singh (Hindustani Samaj), Mr. Anjani Kumar Das (Overseas Bihar Association), Mr. Rameshwar Singh (DISHA) and other heads of cultural organizations were invited to express their welcome.
Shri Nikhilesh Giri discussed the potential trajectory of the evolution in Indo-Russian relations. The parties engaged in a dialogue regarding the status of the Indian community in Russia, aiming to address forthcoming challenges and strengthen ties with the Embassy of India in Russia. Mr. Giri comes after his successful tenure in Japan and highly appreciated the long-standing strategic relationship between the two countries.
