On 7th June 2023 President of Indian Business Council Mr. Akashdeep Singh held a videoconference with Mr. Anton Kornilov, Head of the Development of the Agency and Partner network of the Russian Export Center.
The parties met to explore potential avenues of collaboration and the future directions of work for both organizations, with the goals of further increasing the volume of trade between India and Russia and fortifying the existing relations between the two countries.
Mr. Anton Kornilov outlined the primary focuses of the work of the Russian export center, stating that they collaborate with all the Commerce Chambers of the Russian regions and provide all the necessary assistance to all companies intending to enter the export market. He also discussed the national project “Made in Russia,” whose concept involves the formation of an initiative group of entrepreneurs who not only support Russian brands, but also shape the image of the contemporary Russian entrepreneur.
Mr. Akashdeep Singh concurred that the creation and dissemination of a national brand and work in this regard can serve as an impetus for additional collaboration. He also expressed the Indian Business Council’s willingness to provide all essential assistance in sharing its experience working with Russian companies and offered assistance to Russian organizations seeking to enter the Indian market. Both parties have agreed to expand their collaboration and intend to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation in the near future
