On August 18, Akashdeep Singh, the President of the Association for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Support of Business Relations “Indian Business Council”, CEO of Vulkan-A Textiles, Sheeram Gums (food industry, chemicals for oil and gas industry) met with Boris Sokolov, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The event was held on the territory of the Nizhny Tagil metallurgical plant – member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting was attended by Sales Director of the Division «Ural» Valery Smirnov and General Director of «Red Star» LLC Andrey Kusov.
The parties discussed cooperation issues between Russian and Indian companies in order to strengthen Russian-Indian business relations, development of the new directions for the future. In addition, special consideration was given to the possibility of carrying out trade missions of Russian exporters to India. The President of the Chamber of Commerce Boris Sokolov spoke on the system of chambers of commerce and industry and highlighted possible fields of cooperation between the business communities of both countries. As a result of the meeting, the participants agreed to prepare and sign the cooperation agreement.
