Indian pharmaceutical companies expressed interest in localizing business in Russia

Indian pharmaceutical companies supplying medicines to the Russian market are interested in localizing production in the Russian Federation and jointly developing medicines. This was reported to TASS by Mr. Mir Farooq, Vice President of the Indian Business Council and Head of the Russian Representative Office of IPCA Laboratories, one of the leading Indian pharmaceutical companies.

According to him, the trend towards localization is a natural process that exists both in Russia and India. “This is the future for our Indian businessmen. We need to move in this direction and localize production in Russia. Especially when it comes to pharmaceutical substances, where we are very strong,” Mr. Farooq said.
