On the inaugural day of SPIEF’2024, June 5, 2024, Mr. Akashdeep Singh, the President of the Indian Business Council, participated in the International SME Cooperation event themed “SME DEVELOPMENT TRENDS IN RUSSIA AND INDIA: ENSURING SUSTAINABLE GROWTH”.
The event focused on discussing the significance of small and medium-sized enterprise development in fostering sustainable growth of international SME corporations, as well as the effective collaboration between India and Russia in achieving successful cooperation.
During the event, the President of the Indian Business Council engaged in a meeting with representatives of Gazprombank to enhance the capabilities of companies engaged in Indian-Russian trade relations. He outlined the ways in which the Indian Business Council could provide assistance in this regard, and both parties agreed to explore opportunities for further collaboration.
Furthermore, Mr. Singh participated in interviews with RBC and First Channel , where he highlighted the increasing bilateral ties between Russia and India, the potential for trade growth across various sectors, and the expanding role of the Indian Business Council in facilitating such growth.
