Members of the IBC participated in the Indian mango festival, organized by the Embassy of India, Moscow and APEDA (The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) on 23rd May, 2024, Astrus hotel, Moscow. The event brought together mango and other fruit importers, from various states of India. The Indian Business Council (IBC) was represented by the LakshyaUdai FPO mango producer from Lucknow, UP, and the logistic company RR Brothers and logistics.
The discussions focused on the import of fruits from India, with a key emphasis on increasing volumes and improving conditions for Indian suppliers. Notably, the event attracted representatives from Russian governmental organizations such as Rosselkhoznadzor, as well as representatives from Russian retail chains interested in purchasing Indian tropical fruits.
The event included the B2B meeting segment, where participants had the opportunity to exchange contacts for potential future collaborations. This event served as a platform for fostering fruitful partnerships and enhancing trade relations between India and Russia.
