Indian Business Council participated in the conference organized by the Russian Textile Association.

On March 14, 2024, representatives of the Indian Business Council convened with our esteemed partner, the Russian Textile Association. There were around a hundred light industry representatives in attendance. This conference was arranged by the RTA in order to help the enterprises and their efforts to revive the light industry in the Russian Federation. The Indian Business Council President, & MD of International Textile company Vulkan-A, Mr. Akashdeep Singh, received recognition for his commendable work in Russia’s light manufacturing sector.

For almost 30 years Vulkan-A under his leadership has been promoting Indian light industry. He has been successful in fostering productive ties between Russian and Indian businesses. This honor is a testament to everyone in our organization’s effort and commitment. It stands for the advancements we have accomplished at the IBC. In his address, he emphasized the growing closeness between our two nations and recommended that Russian businesses sell to India, with the IBC providing them with the greatest assistance possible.

Open discussion took place throughout the conference about the many Russian manufacturing enterprises that have indicated a strong desire to work with India for exports and technology transfer, buying equipment etc.

We really appreciate Mr. Shamkhal Adamovich Ildarov and the RTA management team’s organization and work in the direction to help to the light industry sector. We’re excited about the opportunity to collaborate with RTA in the future.
