IBC President, Mr. Akashdeep Singh visited the Tamil Nadu state of India in order to continue the communication and increase the ties between Russian and Indian companies

On 22nd of May, 2024, Mr. Akashdeep Singh, President of the Indian Business Council, met with the GST commissioner of the Tamil Nadu, India, Mr. Anirudh.R.Gangavaram, to discuss opportunities for increasing the involvement of Indian companies in business with Russia.

The discussions revolved around the potential for collaboration in key sectors, with a focus on the leading areas of the region. These include automobile manufacturing, textiles, agrotech, and electronics parts and equipment. Both sides explored the possibilities for enhancing partnerships and fostering growth in these promising sectors. Mr. Akashdeep Singh’s visit marks a significant step towards strengthening business ties between India and Russia, paving the way for future collaborations and mutual benefits.

On the same day, Mr. Akashdeep Singh engaged in discussions with the Tamil Nadu Association of Poultry and Egg Producers to explore opportunities for Indian farmers to enter the Russian market, enhancing agricultural trade between the two countries.
