Strategic Dialogue at Sechenov University

On July 1, 2025, our Vice-President Mr. Farooq Mir held strategic discussions at Sechenov University with key leaders: Ms. Elena Paramonova, Director of the Department of Clinical Research of Drugs and Medical Devices, and Mr. Vadim Tarasov, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Technological Development and Director of the Institute for Translational Medicine and Biotechnology.
The meeting yielded concrete collaboration proposals, including plans to organize a specialized seminar with cluster participation and develop a large-scale industry conference. Both parties explored scientific and technical cooperation, with Sechenov University expressing interest in supporting Indian pharmaceutical companies through economic modeling for Russian market entry, drug registration assistance, and joint technology transfer initiatives. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IBC and Sechenov University was discussed as a framework for future collaboration. Additionally, the university proposed educational partnerships, particularly in facilitating academic exchanges for Indian medical and pharmaceutical students. Indian industry leaders and Russia’s premier medical institution.
