On December 13, 2025, at 7:00 PM, the Indian Business Council (IBC) held its New Year’s Reception at the “Tandoor” restaurant (address: Oruzheiny Pereulok, 13, building 1).
The Reception was honored by the presence of His Excellency Mr. Vinay Kumar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Russian Federation. His attendance represented a distinct privilege for the Council and a significant symbol of the strength of bilateral relations. Ambassador Vinay Kumar addressed the guests with a welcoming speech, noting the positive trajectory of Russian-Indian dialogue and expressing confidence in the further deepening of business cooperation, while also extending his New Year’s greetings to all attendees.
The event also featured an address by the Minister of Education, Mr. V. Kumar, who emphasized the fundamental role of educational exchanges in developing long-term strategic partnership.
Key Highlights of the Reception:
A record number of diplomatic representatives from the Embassy of India in Moscow was in attendance. Notably, the Ambassador was accompanied by five heads of key Embassy departments, underscoring the high level of attention given to the Council’s activities.
The Reception gathered the largest assembly of Indian Business Council members in the history of the organization’s events. This turnout serves as a clear testament to the growing authority and cohesion of our community.
