From October 4 to 15, 2025, the 2nd Indian Film Festival lit up screens across five Russian cities: St. Petersburg, Kazan, Moscow, Yakutsk, and Vladivostok.
The Indian Business Council (IBC) was a proud participant in the event, which was organized by the Embassy of India in Moscow and the Russian Ministry of Culture.
In Moscow, the festival ran from October 5-6 at the Moskino Cosmos, featuring a delegation of 16 Indian film industry stars and creators who met with Russian audiences.
The IBC’s involvement highlights how the festival acts as a powerful tool of soft power, helping to build a stronger bridge between the Indian and Russian nations. By supporting this cultural exchange, the business community is helping to deepen ties beyond diplomacy and trade, using the universal language of cinema to bring people together.
