IBC Members Drive Indo-Russian Medical Cooperation at Major Eurasian Health Forum

On April 10, 2025, the Congress Center of the CCI of the Russian Federation hosted the opening of the III International Forum “The Health Saving Industry in Greater Eurasia”, organized by the Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia and Africa and the International Institute of Health. The event brought together representatives from over 20 countries, including India, to discuss global healthcare challenges and sustainable development goals.
The Indian Business Council (IBC) in Russia played a prominent role in the Forum, with Mr. Akashdeep Singh, President of IBC, and Mr. Farooq Mir, Vice President of IBC, participating in the plenary session. They highlighted the prospects and key contributions of Indian pharmaceutical companies in advancing healthcare cooperation between India and Russia. Their insights underscored India’s growing role as a leader in affordable and innovative medical solutions.
The session also featured Vladimir Padalko, Vice President of the Russian CCI, who emphasized the importance of international collaboration in healthcare, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. He acknowledged the efforts of the Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia and Africa in fostering expert dialogue and strengthening public diplomacy.
The Forum concluded with an award ceremony, where Mr. Singh and Mr. Mir were honored for their contributions to the healthcare industry.
Their participation reinforced the IBC’s commitment to enhancing India-Russia cooperation in pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and public health initiatives. The discussions and recommendations from the Forum will be incorporated into a final resolution, paving the way for stronger Eurasian-African partnerships in healthcare.
