Dy. Chief of Mission (DCM), Embassy of India, Moscow – Mr. Nikhilesh Giri has called a meeting with Core Committee of IBC on 11th November 2024 at White Rabbit restaurant which was attended by Mr. Akashdeep Singh, Mr. Ashok Jayaswal, Mr. Jitendra Kumar, Dr. Vijay K. Singh & Mr. Anjani Das.
Following was the gist of discussion:
- DCM has been apprised by Mr. Akashdeep Singh on IBC activities followed by IBC core committee members have given their introduction.
- DCM has suggested for joint meeting of EOI & IBC once in every 2 months for understanding the business issues to enhance Indian businesses in Russia. The first meeting has been proposed around 10th Dec. 2024.
- IBC Core committees have requested the DCM for regular communication on business information as well as delegations visiting India & Russia details. This will help the IBC to host and accompany them wherever possible.
- IBC Core committees have requested the DCM for hosting a welcome meeting for him. He has indicated for a possibility in January 2025.
- DCM has assured that EOI will help the Indian business here and, IBC can be a pillar for the success of Indian business promotion in new field. He has also provided a list of item-requirement received from the Russian side.
We appreciated the meeting with the DCM and, IBC members will have benefits with this meeting. We should look forward to member’s valuable suggestions to take it up with EOI on regular basis and, improve IBC activities.
